Haymaker fans: Just a reminder that NO Passes are accepted for entry into Sub-District basketball games. Adult price for admission is $6.00 and students $5.00. Just a reminder, the first 200 Cozad students will be admitted free compliments of Cozad businesses. Spectators must use the EAST main entrance of the High School due to NSAA regulations and construction.
A BIG shout-out to these Cozad businesses for supporting and promoting our Haymaker athletics and students: Shoemaker Seed & Agronomy, Megan Fales Insurance Agency LLC Shelter Insurance, Davis Law LLC, and Western Valley Insurance Kiffin Murphy Real Estate. These businesses have offered to pay the admission fee for the first 200 Cozad students (grades K-12) on Tuesday, February 21st, as the Haymaker Boys basketball team takes on Chase County in the C1-11 sub-districts. Game time 5:30 pm.

Good Luck to our Lady Haymaker Cheer Team as they are on their way to Grand Island to compete in the State competition today. The team will perform their Non-tumbling routine at 9:40 AM and their Game day routine at 11:44 AM. We are so proud of these talented and hard working ladies!

Due to McCook canceling school today we have rescheduled the JV/Varsity and 8th grade boys' basketball games that were scheduled for today (2/16/23)
JV/Var boys basketball will play tomorrow, Fri. Feb 17th 5:30/7:00 pm
8th grade boys basketball will play on Monday, Feb 20th @ 4:30 pm
There will be NO games played in McCook today as they canceled school. We are working on rescheduling details. JV & Varsity Boys and 8th grade boys basketball were scheduled to compete their today. We will keep you updated on rescheduling information.
Cozad Early Education Center (CEEC) Open House and Preschool Enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year will be held on Thursday, February 16th, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. This is for 3 or 4 year old PreK students.
Due to the weather forecast this afternoon, our State Wrestling Qualifiers will leave for Omaha at 1:15 this afternoon. Unfortunately, these qualifiers will not be able to attend the State Send-Off, however, we will plan a special recognition for these athletes when they return. Safe travels.
Attention 8th Grade Parents: Today Mrs. Haarberg, HS Counselor, met with all 8th graders and went over courses and course requirements for their upcoming freshmen year. All students have a registration form that they are to bring home and go over with their parents/guardians. Forms must be signed and returned to Mr. Dinslage by Monday, February 20th.
Parents and Students of grades 9-12: Class registration forms are due tomorrow, Wednesday, February 15th. These forms are for class requests for the 23-24 school year. Forms must be signed by a parent. Forms must be turned into the office tomorrow (Wednesday).
