Cozad Softball has advanced to the C6 District finals. Cozad will travel to Wayne on Friday, October 6th. Game time is 11:00 am. The district will be a one day best of 3 series. Congratulations to our Haymakers and Best of Luck at Districts!

MS FB @ Minden today has been postponed due to weather--the game has been rescheduled to Monday, Oct 16 @ Minden - 4:00 pm.

Parents & Students: Reminder that there will be NO SCHOOL for students this Thursday and Friday, October 5th & 6th. Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Also, there is a 2:00 dismissal on Wednesday, Oct. 4th. Students, have a great long weekend!

Girls Golf C-4 Districts that was scheduled for tomorrow (10/3/23) at Indianhead in Grand Island has been moved to Wednesday, Oct. 4th. due to the inclement weather.

Home Middle School Volleyball today against Gothenburg. The 7th graders will play at the Elementary and the 8th graders at the Wellness Center. Game times are 4:30 pm. Good Luck Lady Haymakers!

October 2nd is National Custodial Worker's Recognition Day. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our amazing school custodians. They work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming every day. Thank you for your dedication and hard work! Cozad Community Schools has the best!

The 7th & 8th grade volleyball teams will play at home on Monday, October 2nd. Games will start at 4:30. The 8th grade will play in the Wellness Center and the 7th grade will play in the Elementary gym. Due to construction at the Elementary, the main entrance of the elementary on the south side will be the only entrance to the gym. Parking at Wellness center will be the east HS parking lot.

A look into a couple Cozad Elementary classrooms this week! In 1st grade, Mrs. Ross' class learned all about the major body parts and how they keep us going! Students wrapped up their Human Body CKLA unit by prepping for surgery! In 3rd grade, Ms. Widick's class finished their Animal Classifications CKLA unit. Students created a new creature and then classified them into one of the five vertebrate groups they learned about! #HaymakerWay
