These students will be inducted into National Honor Society on Monday, October 30th, at 6:00 p.m. in the High School Auditorium.
The C1-11 Volleyball Sub-district bracket has been released, and Cozad is gearing up to face Hershey in Match 1. Good Luck to our Haymaker teams competing today. MS Volleyball will host Lexington at home with games beginning at 4:30 pm. Games will be played in the HS gym (8th grade) and Wellness Center (7th grade). 8th grade game will be live-streamed on our HudlTV. MS Football travels to the west and faces the Gothenburg Swedes. Game times are 5:00 pm & 6:30 pm. Volleyball travels to Minden. 9/10 plays at 5:00, JV at 6:00, and Varsity at 7:00 pm.
Good Luck to our CHS Cross Country team & coaches at the C-5 District Meet tomorrow, Wednesday, October 11th. The District meet will be held in Ogallala at Crandell Creek Golf Course. Start time for the girls is 3:30 MST/4:30 CST and the boys will begin at approximately 4:15 MST/5:15 CST. Let's give it our all and show them what the Haymakers are made of!
The Middle School football game vs. Minden that was rescheduled for Monday, October 16th, will have a 4:00 pm start time. The game will have a format of A game with 2 B-game quarters to follow.
Update on MS Football at Gothenburg tomorrow, October 10th--The 7th grade game tomorrow vs Gothenburg will be running clock (5:00 pm). The 8th grade game will follow. 8th grade parents should note that the 7th grade game will go faster than normal.
The 9/10 football game scheduled for Thursday, October 12th has been canceled due to Lexington having low numbers.
The 2023 C-5 District Cross Country meet is being moved to Wednesday, October 11th, because of the anticipated weather Thursday. Same start time.

Best of luck to the Cozad High School Haymaker Band at the Harvest of Harmony Parade and Field Competition in Grand Island tomorrow, Saturday, October 7th! The first Parade entry is scheduled to step off at 8:15 am and Cozad will begin the Field Performance competition at 12:30 pm. The parade route is On Eddy Street and 3rd street in downtown Grand Island.
