Congratulations to CHS Senior Regan Schroeder Elks Student of the Month for April. CHS Counselor Mrs. Haarberg with junior representative Wyatt Hosick met with the counselors and junior representatives from Eustis-Farnam, Gothenburg, and Lexington for selection of Elks Student of the Month. Multiple times a year counselors and junior representatives from each of the schools above meet. The junior representatives look through portfolios of seniors from all four districts that have an application, resume, letter of recommendation, and transcript. There are then two seniors from either school district selected as Elks Student of the Month. This last meeting was held in Lexington and winners were selected for April and May. The CHS Early Childhood and Education class is wrapping up the lesson planning unit. As a project, students planned an effective lesson plan for the first graders. While presenting their lesson the first-grade team evaluated the high school students' teaching techniques and activity plan. A huge thank you to Mrs. Arends and Mrs. Ross for allowing us to visit with their students.
