LOCATION CHANGE: Due to unplayable field conditions in Cozad, the C-6 District Softball Championships have been moved to the Lexington Optimists Baseball/Softball Complex located at 1403 W 13th Street in Lexington, NE. The bracket will remain the same as posted earlier this afternoon.
There will be C-6 District Softball Championship T-shirts and hooded sweatshirts available for sale on Friday and Saturday at Bellamy Park. Sizes are limited, so come and get them early!

SkillsUSA is pleased to bring Original Works to Cozad. Be on the lookout for your child to bring home their packet. Purchase products with your child’s artwork on them. Included in the packet is a letter, product list and their picture. If you would like to order, fill out the order form and send it back to school with your money (checks made out to Cozad Community Schools). If you do not want to purchase anything, then keep the packet at home and enjoy your child’s artwork.
The 2018 NSAA C-6 District Softball Tournament will be held in Cozad this Thursday and Friday, October 4th & 5th. Cozad will start the District Tournament on Thursday at 12:00 noon against Chase County.
Pumpkin Decorating Contest at Wilson Public Library--
Beginning October 1, Wilson Public Library cardholders can enter a decorated pumpkin to potentially win a prize. Submissions must be a pumpkin or gourd that has been decorated as the patron’s favorite book character, with the rest of the decorations are up to the patron’s imagination. No carved pumpkins or gourds allowed. Pumpkins must be dropped off by Friday, October 19, at 4:30pm and will be on display at the library for public viewing and voting October 22 to October 31. There are four categories for prizes: 0-Pre-K; K-5; 6-12, Adult, plus an additional grand prize winner. Winners
