Cozad Teammates Mentoring is celebrating Mentor Appreciation month. They will be holding a drawing and all proceeds collected will be given to Cozad Elementary for new recess equipment and toys. Thank you Cozad Teammates for all you do for our students!
Cozad Community Schools’ preschool program is accepting applications for children within the Cozad school district for the 2019-20 school year. This program is a Monday-Thursday full-day program. Children who are 4 years of age or will be 4 by July 31, 2019 will be given priority for acceptance. Please note there may be a monthly sliding-scale fee charged to offset costs for the program (allowable per Nebraska Rule 11). This determination will be made in the spring and parents will be notified via letter the beginning of March with additional information. Enrollment packets can be picked up at the Cozad Early Education Center, 420 West 14th, during school hours. Packets must be completed and returned by February 28, 2019.

We continue to investigate problems some patrons are experiencing in reaching our PowerSchool server from certain ISPs (Verizon and possibly Cozad Telephone). The problem is not internal to our network, it appears to be a DNS problem with certain internet providers. We will continue to work with our DNS providers to find a solution.
