Elementary Parents and Patrons,
We regret to announce that summer AfterZone has been cancelled for the 2020 season. We have labored over this decision since the closure of school in March. However, after considering Governor Ricketts, Two Rivers Health Department and CDC recommendations the district believes this is our safest course of action for students and staff at this time. We want to thank you for your continued support of AfterZone over the past years and we are truly looking forward to starting up again when school reconvenes this fall.

Cozad Community Schools is pleased to announce that Kaylei Becker has been named the new Girls Golf Coach at Cozad High School. Coach Becker is a 2017
Cozad graduate and decorated golfer while in high school. During her high school playing career, she was a 4-time letter winner, 3-time state qualifier and two year
state medalist (2nd place-2015, 4th place-2016). After high school, she played college golf at UNK. She has also assisted in the summer golf programs in Cozad.

Cozad Community Schools is pleased to announce that Darrel Francescato has been named the new Head Volleyball Coach at Cozad High School. Coach Francescato was previously the head volleyball coach at Cozad from 2013-2016 and an assistant coach from 2008-2014. Parents & Students:
The school district has worked hard to ensure that students have access to technology that supports the acquisition of academic standards during this time of school closure. Please remember this is a tool to access school resources and not a toy. Students are responsible for the appropriate care and use of district property. Students will be held accountable for damaging or destroying all district property (includes power cords, screens and the device itself).
Parents, please remind your children not to eat, drink, or play around their school device. We have seen many spills and breaks this week. A reminder that students/parents can be held accountable for negligent damage. We appreciate your help. Thank you!
