Cozad High School & Middle School picture day is Wednesday, September 6th (CEEC & Elementary will be September 7th). Parents can order online with code 0090420In (for HS/MS). When an order is placed online, the parent/guardian will receive a camera pass via email. This can either be printed or texted to the student and brought to picture day. The photographer will photograph the printed camera pass along with the student. If a student is not able to print their camera pass, that is not a problem. We will match up the student to their order manually in the production process. There are also packets in the office a student can pick up!

The CHS FFA Tailgate has been moved inside to the High School Commons. We are serving from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. tonight! FREE WILL DONATION! Thank you to all for supporting our Cozad FFA Chapter!

Just a reminder for our first home football game, we are asking for your cooperation when attending home football games and all of our additional home activities. ● Elementary students and young children attending the game will be asked to sit with their parents. ● Middle School and High School Students are expected to sit in the student section or with parents. ● Students who enter the game must stay inside the fences, students who leave will not be allowed to re-enter. ● Students will not be allowed to have pick up games of football to ensure their safety and the safety of those around them. This includes behind the Wellness Center. ● Students will not be allowed to play under the bleachers for their own safety. ● No loitering outside of the stadium during the game. ● We ask that all fans enter the stadium through the west main gate even if they have a pass. Visitors will enter through the east main gate on Friday nights only. We are excited about Cozad activities and with your partnership everyone will be able to enjoy the efforts of our athletes, cheer squad, dance squad and our band. Go Haymakers!

The 9/10 football game that was scheduled for Ogallala on Thursday, August 31st, has been CANCELLED due to low numbers for both teams.

We understand our fans and patrons can't make every game. So we want to ensure you can watch your favorite Haymakers even when you can’t be in the stands. Hudl TV is Hudl’s streaming service that allows you to watch our games live on your mobile device. Due to the forecast of high temperatures during the day and evening tomorrow, Thursday, August 24th, Gothenburg has rescheduled the Varsity Softball game starting at 8:30 pm . The JV game will be rescheduled for a later date.

Softball at NP— JV softball has been canceled. Varsity is shooting for a 7:00 pm start if temperatures allow it.

Schedule Change for Girls; Golf: The Kearney Catholic Girls Golf Invite has been moved from Thursday, August 24th, to Tuesday, August 29th. Due to this change, the dual scheduled with Kearney Catholic on August 29th has been postponed. The date for the dual is TBD.

This afternoon Cozad Elementary students had a valuable lesson in working together. Balloons were blown up and placed in the hallway. Each balloon had a student's name on it. The first time they were tasked with finding their own balloon. The second time, they helped each other by picking up a balloon and getting it to its owner! When we work together, we can make things happen! #HaymakerWay

The York Softball Invite tomorrow (8.19.23) has been moved up to 9:00 am instead of 10:00 am to help beat the heat.
