As we move into our activities beginning, we hope that you will join us at our fall sports and activities. We are asking for your cooperation when attending our school events, specifically at home football games and all of our additional home activities.
● Elementary students and young children attending the game will be asked to sit with their parents.
● Middle School and High School Students are expected to sit in the student section or with parents.
● Students who enter the game must stay inside the fences, students who leave will not be allowed to re-enter.
● Students will not be allowed to have pick up games of football to ensure their safety
and the safety of those around them. This includes behind the Wellness Center.
● Students will not be allowed to play under the bleachers for their own safety.
● No loitering outside of the stadium during the game.
● We ask that all fans enter the stadium through the west main gate even if they have a pass. Visitors will enter through the east main gate on Friday nights only.
We are excited about Cozad activities and with your partnership everyone will be able to enjoy the efforts of our athletes, cheer squad, dance squad and our band.
Go Haymakers!
One-Act Auditions start Monday (08/21)! Auditions run from 4:00-5:30 and 6:30-9:00 Monday and Tuesday in the CHS Auditorium. Whether you are interested in being a part of the crew backstage or part of the cast on stage, plan to attend at least one of the sessions.

Thank you Cozad Elementary for a great first week!
We wanted to send some reminders and focus areas as we move into Week 2:
1. Parents walking students into the building: Please talk with your student and plan to walk students to the door if you would like to walk with your students. Please allow them to enter the building on their own. We want students to build their confidence and independence as we continue to move into the school year!
2. Parent Parking: If you are going to park, please make sure that it is in the church parking lot on the East side of the building. There should be no parking at the front of the building to ensure the line moves efficiently.
3. Parent Drop Off/Pick Up #1: Pull up as far as you can when you drop off your child at the front of the school building on 14th Street! The more cars we can fit in the street in front of the school, the faster the line moves and the more efficient we can be.
4. Parent Drop Off/Pick Up #2: Pull up and to the right side of the street, up to the curb, when dropping off at the front of the building. This will allow teachers to pass the drop off line if needed to get to the staff parking lot.
5. Staff Parking: All staff will now be parking on the West side of the building in our new staff parking lot. This lot is for staff only and should open up a lot of space in other areas!

The two best location for drop off and pick up this year are the front door, and the church lot circle drive (both have a dotted line around them in this photo). Staff will be outside to help direct students to the 2nd grade door and front door where they will enter.
