The SWC basketball brackets have been released. Girls begin the tournament on Monday, January 23rd at home vs. Holdrege at 6:00 pm. Boys will travel to Holdrege on Tuesday, January 24th with a start time of 6:00 pm. Good Luck to our Haymaker Basketball teams!

It was a big day for our Haymaker Cheer team. Their hard work and dedication is to be commended! These ladies competed in the Heartland Championships in Lincoln today and were the Class C1 Non-Tumbling Champions and the Class C1 Game Day Champions! In addition, the team received the highest score of all the Class C teams earning the Class C Championship Award! It is a GREAT day to be a Haymaker!! #cozadcheer #HaymakerWay

Calendar changes for Spring MS & HS Concert dates: The HS Spring Concert will be April 11 at 7:30pm (same date as the Home DMC Concert). The MS Spring Concert will now be Tuesday, May 2nd at 7:30pm.
Please note the following changes to the schedule and printed calendar:
**JV/V Girls @ McCook is being moved from Jan 30th to Jan 31st (5:00/6:30 pm). McCook has a scheduling conflict.**
**Girls 9th-10th BB game @ Ogallala on Jan 31st has been cancelled due to low numbers and rescheduling**
**9th-10th boys BB will still play @ Ogallala on Jan 31st (5:30 mtn/6:30 cst)**
The 9th/10th basketball games have been rescheduled for Monday, January 16th @ Lexington High School (4:00 pm). This will be a boys game only. The girls game has been cancelled due to low numbers and other scheduled games.

Good Luck to our Haymaker Basketball teams today as they host the Gothenburg Swedes. Games begin at 4:30 with JV (Girls JV will play 2 quarters). Varsity Girls will begin at 6:00 pm and tip-off for Varsity Boys at 7:30. Games in the HS Gym will be on our Haymaker Media YouTube Channel.
Lexington Wrestling Dual on Thursday, January 12th, will begin at 6:00 pm with JV matches. Varsity dual will follow the JV matches.

Congratulations to our mid-term graduates! CHS has four seniors that have completed their CHS academic career and will graduate mid-term. The mid-term graduation will be held tomorrow, Saturday, January 7th, at 11:00 am in the High School Auditorium. We are so proud of Alysiah Urquiza-Buss, Autumn Smith, Tate Wolfe, and Bianca Simants.
TIME CHANGE ON BASKETBALL GAMES SATURDAY, JANUARY 7TH: The girls JV game will be only 2 quarters on Saturday starting at 4:00 pm. Because they are only playing 2 quarter we will start the girls varsity game around 5:30 pm instead of 6:00 pm with the boys varsity game to follow at approximately 7:00 pm.
