Elementary construction has wrapped up just in time! Thank you to the construction crews for all of their hard work. Our educators have also been in these rooms working around the clock to prepare the spaces for our kiddos. A huge shoutout to them for their flexibility and for pouring their hearts into these new rooms!

The two best location for drop off and pick up this year are the front door, and the church lot circle drive (both have a dotted line around them in this photo). Staff will be outside to help direct students to the 2nd grade door and front door where they will enter.

ELEMENTARY PARENTS/GUARDIANS: PICK UP/DROP OFF UPDATE
Please note the TWO spots that we recommend for drop off and pick up during the 2023-2024 school year! We want to keep students safe during this construction project. The options are:
1. Drop off your student at the front of Cozad Elementary. Due to added temporary barriers, the only route available for drop off is to come down 14th st. They will enter through the front doors.
2. Drop off your student in the church parking lot and the newly created circle pathway. Students will then walk across C st. in between the temporary barriers. They will enter through the second grade hallway doors.
A couple of key things to note:
1. Staff members will be outside to assist with guiding students in the morning and after school.
2. Barriers will go up and come down before/after pick up and drop off time.
3. Staff will no longer be parked in the church lot, as our new staff parking will be completed opening up a lot of space.
Please reach out with any questions or concerns!

A year’s worth of progress on the HS construction project. So exciting to see the changes--thank you to the Cozad community! Shout out to Mr. Kyle Vincent for capturing and editing this progress.
