Congratulations to all these Elks Student of the Month and Elk’s scholarship winners for the 2022-2023 school year from Cozad, Eustis-Farnam, Gothenburg, and Lexington. The Cozad Elks club held a dinner Monday night to honor these seniors. The winners from Cozad are Megan Dyer, Connor Brock, Regan Schroeder and Mallory Applegate. "Zombies The Musical" will be presented this Thursday, April 27, 2023 at the High School Auditorium. This musical will be preformed by 4th and 5th graders under the direction of Mrs. Senja Stephens, Mr. Kyle Vincent and Ms. Mercedes Guerra. There will be a matinee performance at 2 p.m. at and an evening performance on at 7:00 pm. 4th and 5th grader students had to audition for a role in this production and they are excited to share this musical with you!

Attention Seniors and Senior Parents: The "Senior Farewell BBQ Reception with CHS staff" is Wednesday May 3rd from 5:00 to 7:00 pm (please note this time is different that what is printed on the school calendar). This BBQ is hosted by the CHS faculty and staff in recognition of the Seniors and their parents. Supper will be on the east green space by the student entrance.

CHS Boys' Golf team has a busy competitive week. Today our Varsity golfers travel and compete at Holdrege. On Thursday, April 27th, they host the Dawson County Invite. On Friday, our JV Boys team will compete at Overton and the Varsity at Broken Bow. Good Luck Haymakers!
