We wrapped up our first year of having an in school savings program at Cozad Elementary! Students who had the most deposits and all the student tellers were recognized. Also congratulations to Anna Dillon for being chosen as teller of the year! This honor is well deserved. Thank you Waypoint Bank for leading such a great program and we look forward to doing it again next year!
Wishing our Girls and Boys Track teams the best of luck as they compete in the B-6 District Track event today, Tuesday, May 7th, in Ogallala. Field events start at 11:00 AM (Central time), with running events following at 2:00 PM (Central time). It's going to be an exciting day as our athletes face off against tough competitors from Alliance, Chadron, Gering, Gothenburg, McCook, Ogallala, Scottsbluff, and Sidney. Let's go, Haymakers!

Parents of Kindergartners for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Prior to the first day of school, all kindergartners will need a physical and vision exam, copy of certified birth certificate, and complete immunization record which includes the 5 year old boosters. These must be turned into the elementary office before August 21st.
Attention Parents of Students entering the 7th grade: All 7th graders for the upcoming 24-25 school year must have a physical exam and record of immunizations which includes 1 booster dose of Tdap. Must be completed before the first day of school.
Today, Cozad Community Schools had a delicious meal featuring Tyson beef, thanks to the generous support of the Dawson County Farm Bureau and Dawson County Cattlemen Association. In the past week, over 5,300 students across Dawson County got to enjoy this nutritious meal as part of the "Beef in Schools" program. Huge shoutout to the Cozad FFA for organizing, unloading, and delivering the meat for Cozad schools. We're thrilled to support local agriculture and provide wholesome meals for our students. Cheers to community partnerships that make a difference!
