Cozad Elementary will celebrate "Red Ribbon Week" this week, October 23-Oct 27th. Red Ribbon Week was designed to create awareness of the dangers of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. Congratulations to the newest Cozad High School National Honor Society members! New members include: London Costanza, Mason Fales, Larkyn Malcom, Talyn Sassali, Noah Shoemaker, and Erica Weatherly. These students will be inducted into National Honor Society on Monday, October 30th, at 6:00 p.m. in the High School Auditorium.
The C1-11 Volleyball Sub-district bracket has been released, and Cozad is gearing up to face Hershey in Match 1. The Haymaker Bank Branch will have its grand opening tomorrow. Elementary students who have returned their permission slip will be able to make their first deposit. We wanted to thank Waypoint Bank for creating this great opportunity for our students!
Good Luck to our Haymaker teams competing today. MS Volleyball will host Lexington at home with games beginning at 4:30 pm. Games will be played in the HS gym (8th grade) and Wellness Center (7th grade). 8th grade game will be live-streamed on our HudlTV. MS Football travels to the west and faces the Gothenburg Swedes. Game times are 5:00 pm & 6:30 pm. Volleyball travels to Minden. 9/10 plays at 5:00, JV at 6:00, and Varsity at 7:00 pm.
