Good Luck to our CHS SkillsUSA members that are competing at State Skills starting today. More than 1,600 students from across the state will converge in Grand Island at the Heartland Events Center and Fonner Park to compete in the 2024 SkillsUSA Nebraska Championships. Students compete in over 100 career and technical competitions including architecture & construction, arts, audio/video technology, business management & administration, education, health science, public safety, hospitality & tourism, leadership, manufacturing, science, technology, engineering & math, information technology, transportation and more! Each year the state competition is a showcase of students who have worked throughout the year improving their skills and exploring their future careers in the technical trades.Good Luck CHS competitors and adviser, Mrs. Dawn Beans!

Parents: On Monday, April 8th, there will be a partial solar eclipse in the afternoon. Weather and conditions permitting, students at Cozad Community Schools will have the opportunity to observe this event outside. Due to the potential hazard of staring at the sun, students who wish to participate will be REQUIRED to wear protective eye wear that will be provided by the school. In order for your child to participate, this form needs to be completed by a parent and returned to the office by 8:10 a.m. on April 8th! Forms are also available to students in their school office.
