On Thursday, October 26th, CHS Seniors took a big step towards their bright futures! They had an incredible opportunity to attend Cozad's Apply2College Day and Fall Senior Seminar. This event was used to offer seniors time and assistance with applying to colleges and learning how to access local scholarship information. The Fall Seminar sessions provided information on: the FAFSA and EducationQuest's website with scholarship opportunities; credit, banking options, budgeting; expertise of local businesses in regards to completing job applications and job interviewing tips; and experiences from CHS alumni that have returned to Cozad. Huge thanks to local businesses and alumni for sharing their expertise and experiences! A special shoutout to Meridian Tap House for assisting in feeding our students a delicious lunch! This day is made possible by the College Access Grant sponsored by EducationQuest.

Cozad High School Freshmen had an amazing day at Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte on October 30th! They toured both North and South Campus, dove into self-discovery, and discussed their career aspirations. Students had time devoted to learning more about themselves and exploring future options. They participated in the Holland Personality Game and talked about career priorities.
A special thank you to Mrs. Haarberg and Mrs. Rossell for securing the College Access Grant that made this day possible.

Good Luck to our 7th & 8th grade MS Wrestlers today at Sutherland! Wrestling begins at 2:00 pm. Go Haymakers!
