Early Dismissal on December 21st for Cozad Middle School students for their contributions to the Paper and Toy drive will be as follows.
7th grade dismissed at 11:20 (7th graders can eat if they want to before they go home)
8th grade dismissed after they eat first lunch (12:00)
6th grade dismissed at 12:55 (they will eat lunch at school)

Juniors: after 3rd period (10:40 am)
Soph: after 6/7th period-2nd Lunch (12:52 pm)
Freshmen: after 9th period (2:34 pm.)
These early dismissal times are from student/class participation in the NHS Food Drive for the Cozad Food Pantry.

Miss Nebraska, Allison Tietjen, joined Cozad Elementary on Friday at an assembly to help us recognize Cozad Kids Caught with Character for the months of November and December. She shared her story of what character means to her and how stepping back to reflect and make sure she had good character was what helped her win the Miss Nebraska pageant her 3rd time competing. Congratulations to our November and December students "caught with character"!
We also have available sets of the old girls basketball jerseys for sale. The jerseys will be sold for $5 and the shorts for $5 as well. Come to the office to pick them up this week!!

New date and time for Middle School Honors Convocation--The MS Honors Convocation will be held on Thursday December 21st at 9:00 AM in the Auditorium. the Honors Convocation was scheduled for the 19th on the school calendar. Please note the date and time change. Thank you!
Cozad Community Schools will begin the Holiday break on Friday, December 22 through Tuesday, January 2nd. School will resume on Wednesday, January 3rd, with a 2:00 dismissal.
