On Wednesday afternoon, CHS students and 8th graders participated in a College & Career Exploration Fair at the high school.
Students connected with local businesses, colleges, and organizations to learn about future opportunities and career paths. Here's a look at what each grade level experienced:
Juniors visited the fair, attended an alumni panel, worked on resume building, and learned about scholarships to help prepare for their senior year.
Sophomores focused on SMART goals, created resumes, and attended the fair and alumni panel.
Freshmen completed interest surveys, researched careers, and participated in the fair and alumni panel discussions.
8th Graders explored booths for high school organizations they can join next year, received helpful transition information from Principal Mr. Fisher, toured the high school, and visited the career fair.
A huge thank you to all the volunteers, local businesses, organizations, alumni, and CHS staff for making this event a success. Events like this are an important part of our College Access Grant work, designed to raise awareness and prepare students for life after high school.
Special thanks to Mrs. Haarberg and Mr. Revelo from our Cozad High School Counseling Department for planning and organizing this meaningful experience for our students.

Students, Parents & Guardians,
We want to make you aware of a concerning trend circulating on TikTok that encourages students to intentionally damage or destroy school-issued Chromebooks. This type of behavior is a direct violation of both the Mobile Device Agreement and the Responsible Use Agreement that all students and parents signed at the beginning of the school year. Anyone who intentionally damages or destroys their Chromebook or other school-owned technology may be held responsible for the full replacement cost and may also be subject to additional disciplinary action. These actions are not covered by the take-home protection fee.
We ask for your support in reminding students to treat their devices—and all school property—with care and responsibility. Let’s work together to finish the school year strong, safely, and the #HaymakerWay.
Dr. Dan Endorf, Superintendent
Cozad Community Schools
