On October 8th, the senior class participated in Apply2College Day and the Fall Senior Seminar. The event focused on key college and career preparation activities, including resume building, scholarship opportunities, and a business panel discussion. During the panel, professionals shared valuable insights with students about what employers seek in candidates, emphasizing interview skills and resume expectations. As part of Apply2College Day, seniors also had dedicated time to work on and submit their college applications.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our business panelists Heather Brennan from Cozad Community Health System, Marsha Engel from Frontier Medical, and Ariana Rivas from Paulsen Inc. for sharing their expertise and experiences.
Lunch was purchased through our College Access Grant, and we are grateful to Bizzy Bee for providing a delicious meal for our students. We would also like to extend a special thank you to Larry Paulsen and the office staff at Paulsen Inc. for welcoming us and offering a quiet, productive space for our seniors throughout the day.
