SAVE THE DATE!!! When: Saturday, June 23rd 2018 What: Big Red Golf Fundraiser & Diner (Formerly Pitchfork Nation Scramble) Details: 18 hole, 4 person scramble with open to male, female, or co-ed teams with winning prizes for top male and female teams. Flag Prizes will be drawn for and mulligans available to purchase. After golf scramble, a prime rib buffet at Elks Lodge with former 90's Nebraska Cornhuskers sharing stories from the "Championship Era" with the attendees. ALL proceeds will go towards capital improvements to Haymaker Stadium. Registration forms will be found in the Trib, on the Cozad Community Schools website, and the Cozad Community Schools Facebook page beginning May 1st.

UPDATE: Due to impending weather forecasts, The HS Track Invite at Minden will be held on THURSDAY, April 12th. The field events will start at 2:30 PM with running events following at 3:00.

UPDATE: Due to weather, the Boys JV Golf Invitational at Minden scheduled for today has been POSTPONED until next Monday, April 16th at 1:00 PM.

Due to the weather, tomorrow’s youth softball camp will be held at the high school gym. Campers need to wear tennis shoes in the gym. 10u is from 9am-12pm 12u & 14u are from 1-4pm

The Haymaker MS track team opened their season today in a dual versus Lexington at Haymaker Stadium. Great efforts put forth by the athletes and a BIG THANK YOU to all the meet workers that helped to make it possible today!!! #cozadMakers

A Head Girls Basketball Coaching position is now available for the 2018-2019 School Year. We are looking for candidates with strong character, a clear vision for success, and a desire to build on the strong tradition of athletics here in Cozad. This position may be combined with any current openings that include; Secondary Science or any future position. CHS Parents & Students: Reminder that all CHS students grade 9-11 will be taking the ACT Test tomorrow, Tuesday, April 3rd.

UPDATE: The 9/10 track meet at Minden for Tuesday (4.3.18) has been CANCELLED due to the impending weather forecast. This meet will not be rescheduled.

Cozad Elementary 5th graders took part in the Hoops for Heart program this past week while raising money for the American Heart Association. Our 5th grade raised $2,753 from donations for the American Heart Association and Hoops For Heart. We had 33 5th graders take part in the program. This is an outstanding effort by them! Thanks Coach Danielson and 5th Graders!
