Elementary Parents: Reminder that Elementary Track Meets are next week. Monday (May 6th) is K-3 Field Day starting at 12:30pm. Tuesday (May 7th) is 4th-5th Track Meet starting at 12pm. Please remember students will need water bottle, suncreen, and tennis shoes. Parents are encouraged to attend but please stay in the west side bleachers. Thank you!
Cozad Community Schools is seeking a full-time kitchen staff member. The position has the opportunity to work during the summer for the district’s summer food program as well as into next school year. Senior/Senior Parents/Faculty barbecue tonight has been moved inside the high school because of the weather, but it will still be a wonderful night! We start serving at 5:00.
Due to the weather forecast for tomorrow, Wednesday, May 1st, there are some postponements and changes to Cozad Care Day--The High School, Middle School and CEEC is postponing Cozad Care. The elementary will have some classes that will continue if they are inside activities. All students at the elementary that signed up to bring their own sack lunch, should still bring it. Lunch will be served at CEEC, HS, and MS.
Due to low numbers on Saturday because of other activities the students are participating in, the large group ensemble that was supposed to take place at 1:10 PM for the Middle School Contest, will be CANCELED. Small group ensembles and solos will still partake in the Middle School Contest on Saturday May 4, 2019 in Cozad, Nebraska. CANCELLATION: The 9/10 North Platte Track Invitational track meet in North Platte scheduled for Tuesday (4.30.19) has been CANCELLED due to the impending weather forecasts.The track team will return to action on Friday as the Haymakers host the Cozad Invitational.

The 2019 Fine Arts Night will take place TONIGHT (4.29.19) at the High School. The Art Gallery will open at 6:00 PM in the commons area with the main program to follow at 7:00 PM in the gymnasium.

Haymaker Boys Golf Team has been on Fire the past week!! On Thursday they claimed the Dawson County Invite with Adam Cole taking the overall individual championship. Then on Friday they claimed the team championship at the Broken Bow Invite with Adam Cole taking the individual championship there as well!! Great job golfers and coaches!!
There will be a varsity football (grades 9-12, 2019-20) parent meeting Wednesday May 8th at 6 PM in the Auditorium. The meeting will last 30 minutes and cover nutrition, summer schedule, and expectations. If a parent can't make the meeting they may access the information on our school football web page. Thank you
