The media production class had an awesome opportunity to film/work with local business owners. Students listened to the history of the company, along with the goals and values they have implemented.

The elementary will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair February 17th - 20th in the elementary library. Hours are 7:30 - 4:30 Monday - Wednesday and till 6:00 on Thursday of Parent Teacher conferences.

Dream Big! The Dawson Area Leadership Class 17 will be holding a drawing tomorrow night at the Cozad vs Minden Basketball games. The proceeds will make dreams happen for four local non-profit organizations.

Fee: Entry fee is $50 dollars per team.

Parents Please Mark your Calendars: The Music Festival scheduled on March 10th has been rescheduled to March 19th to accommodate the change in the speech calendar. Students affected are 6-12 band and 7-12 vocal. More information on the event will be sent home with students closer to the date.

Congratulations to our Cozad Middle School National Geographic Geography Bee Champion Rugor Aden. Rugor will take an online test Friday to see if he qualifies for the State Competition in March. Also congratulations to Caleb Granay, 2nd Place and Jason Dyer, 3rd Place. Other participants in the finals included Olliver Davis and Ethan Cardona-Garner. Great work to our Middle School students!

2020 MAKER FAIR--COZAD HIGH SCHOOL
On Monday, February 3rd and Tuesday, February 4th, the students at Cozad High School will have the opportunity to take part in courses that are not typically offered at CHS. The 2020 Maker Fair is our sixth annual event, which is loosely based on college interim programs. This project is funded by a grant from the Cozad Foundation. Over the course of two school days, all staff and many community members will be teaching more than 70 different courses. These courses will range in length from 3 hours (half day), to a full day, and even to two full days.
Haymaker Basketball Thursday, Jan. 23rd, at Lexington--Correct game times: JV GBB/BBB - 4:15 pm (calendar says 4:30), VAR GBB - 6:00 pm, VAR BBB - 7:45 pm (to follow girls game) #cozadMakers
CHS Mid-Winter Dance is this Friday, January 24th, from 8:00 to 11:00 pm. Entry doors will lock at 8:30. Breathalyzers will be administered to all students and guest attending. All out of town guests must be registered by this Thursday.
