Law Enforcement and Educators joined together today at Cozad High School for a very informative presentation by Phil Charmers. Phil is a true crime writer, UT law enforcement trainer, youth culture specialist, and a television personality. Attendees were from various law enforcement agencies across the area and even out of state. Educators attending were from Cozad and surrounding areas.
Thank you Cozad Police Department for this learning opportunity and bringing law enforcement and educators together to make our schools and communities a safer place. Also a big thank you to the Opaa! staff for morning coffee and snacks and Cozad Elks and Officers for serving our law enforcement personnel and educators.

Coach Davis will be having a meeting on Monday, February 24th, at 7:00 pm in the HS Commons for all High School boys interested in going out for golf this spring. This meeting is for the athlete and parent.

Thank you to Security First Bank for sponsoring "Cash for College". At the Varsity Basketball game Tuesday evening, Mr. Mark Messner shot for a chance for Abigail Thaden, CHS Senior, to be awarded up to $1,500. Abigail, whose name was randomly drawn, choose Mr. Messner as the teacher to attempt the shots. Mr. Messner had 5 attempts to make a layup, free throw, and a 3 point shot. His success at the basket earned $1,500 for Abigail for "Cash for College"! Thank you Security First Bank for supporting our students!
