Abby & Andrea begin their State Tournament journey today with the first session kicking off at 4:00 PM, followed by the quarterfinals after the first round.

CHS Seniors Lane Wright and Noah Shoemaker earned All-State Honors and will have a personal statue in the Trophy Case. Football Players that have earned All-State honors since 2013 are represented in the trophy case. Each player will have one statue in the trophy case and is given one to keep. These are donated by the Football Program. This is Lane's 2nd year earning these Honors. Congratulations Lane and Noah!

The 7th/8th boys basketball game today at Broken Bow has been cancelled. This game will not be rescheduled.


Due to the weather and the scheduled late-starts, the High School will move MAP Assessments to next week. We will conduct MAP Assessments on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, February 25th and 26th.

Parents, You should have received a text and/or call from our school notification system. As of now, we are planning for a normal start to school tomorrow, Monday, February 17th, unless snowfall greatly exceeds the forecast. Any changes will be announced by 5:45 AM.
Tuesday & Wednesday: Due to frigid temperatures, school will start at 10 AM with no early dismissal on Wednesday. If further adjustments are needed, we will notify you accordingly.

Are you ready for Kindergarten? Cozad Elementary is excited to welcome our future Haymakers! Kindergarten Registration will be held on Thursday, April 3rd, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Cozad Elementary Gym.
Registration packets are available at Cozad Elementary and must be completed and returned by March 28th. We can’t wait to meet our newest students and their families!

Senior Night is Friday, February 14th, as we celebrate our senior basketball players and dance team members during our home games against Broken Bow. Senior girls and boys basketball players will be recognized between the varsity games. Senior dance team members will be honored at halftime of the boys' varsity game.
