Cozad Early Education Center recognized this month's Kind Kids. Congratulations to all kids and families! A special thank you to Karmen Morse, director of the Cozad Afterzone program for presenting the awards today!

Cozad Cheer had their annual end of the year celebration. The 2021-22 team and their parents enjoyed dinner, a video and recognized the senior members. In addition, letters were awarded and the new 2022-2023 team was recognized. It was a great night to celebrate a great season of Haymaker Cheer!

Cozad Summer AfterZone is currently taking registrations for Cozad Elementary students enrolled at Cozad Elementary. This program is open for incoming Kindergarten - 5th grade. Our program will run from May 31st - July 22nd, Monday - Friday 7:30am-5:30pm. Rates are $10.00 for 1/2 day (5 hours or less), $15.00 for a full day (6 hours or more) and free to those students who qualify for free or reduced lunch. We have many activities planned this summer and breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided. Our program gives your student/s an opportunity to learn about nature and weather, hangout with their friends and go on adventures. We are a Nebraska 21st Century Community Learning Center Grantee which helps make this program possible. Call Karmen at 308-529-2416 if you have any questions on enrolling your student/s today.

Congratulations to CHS Students who competed at the Curtis WRSF Science Fair today and qualified for State: Lilianna Wylie, Makenzie Smock, and Alex Werner. Due to forecasts of impending weather, Cozad Community Schools will not be in session on Thursday, March 10th.

Seniors & Senior Parents: There will be NO Senior Scholarship work night this evening (Wednesday, March 9th). We will try hard to reschedule this at a later date.
Congratulations to our February Elementary Cozad Kids Caught with Character! We are proud of you all!

Congratulations to CMS students Camryn Yilk and Jesiah Bowen who placed at the Kearney District National History Day contest. Camryn placed 1st in individual performance and Jesiah placed 2nd in research paper. Both 8th grade students qualified for the State History Day contest in April.
