
Cozad Community Schools is seeking a Secondary English Language Learner Paraprofessional. Job responsibilities include working with students who qualify for the English Language Learner program. This is a 9 month, 35 hour per week position. Health, dental and vision insurance available.

High School Students: Schedule changes Tuesday & Wednesday, August 10th and 11th, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in Mrs. Haarberg's office at the High School


Elementary and Middle School Parents & Students: PowerSchool access will continue to be disabled until Friday, August 13th. High School access is available now for HS schedules. Middle School schedules will be ready for pick up on Friday, August 13th.

High School Students & Parents: High School Schedules for the 2021-2022 school year can be accessed through your PowerSchool login. PowerSchool is ONLY available to high school students at this time. Students needing to change their schedule can do so on Wednesday, August 11th, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in Mrs. Haarberg's office at the High School. Printed schedules will be given to freshmen and new students ONLY at the Freshmen & New Student Orientation. Upperclassmen will use PowerSchool for your schedule.

Reminder Fall Sports Parent meeting this evening, Monday, August 2nd, at 7:00 pm in the HS auditorium. Please use the Double doors right outside the auditorium. This is for all High School Fall athletes and parents.

The Fall Sports Parents Meeting will take place on August 2nd @ 7:00 pm in the HS auditorium. This is for HS students and parents in grades 9th-12th who plan on participating in a fall sport.

Speed camp on July 27 will be held in the HS weight room at 5:15 PM.

CHS Student Congress students are sponsoring the Backpack Program for Cozad students. If you are needing help with school supplies, please come and pick up a backpack full of supplies tomorrow, Wednesday, July 28, from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Pickup will be at the High School in Room 121. Please enter through the east doors (student parking lot).

Full-Time paras require a High School Diploma or GED and must pass a Para Assessment or have the minimum amount of college credit. Paras work closely with the teacher in their assigned classrooms and support them in their duties. Tasks may change dependent on the needs of the students. Ideal candidate is caring, compassionate and dedicated to the students’ success. Full time openings are 9-month, 35 hours per week with benefits that include single health, dental & vision insurance. Part time AfterZone positions include working as part of a team doing activities with elementary students, working 12-15 afternoon hours per week (no insurance available for PT).
