The USDA is now issuing the 3rd Round of Pandemic-Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT). This program is designed to provide financial compensation in the form of EBT benefits to families with children on free and reduced-price meals who experienced additional financial burden due to their child/children missing meals as a result of school closures and adjusted schedules during the 2020-2021 school year. The school is working with DHHS and NDE to get the qualifying student’s information submitted.
It is not too late to submit a Free and Reduced application if you have not done so this year. There are two months left to qualify for this benefit. Your students' Free and Reduced status will then roll over for the first 30 days for the 2021-2022 school year. To check your students' status or if you would like an application sent home with your student, please call Brenna at 784-2745.

Cozad Community Schools is seeking applicants for the position of AfterZone (After School) Program Director. Successful candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, student & staff supervision skills, and strong communication skills. This position entails working with children in grades K-5. Work days follow the school calendar with flexible hours. Summer program option available from June 1st through the end of July.
