Due to the weather forecast this afternoon, our State Wrestling Qualifiers will leave for Omaha at 1:15 this afternoon. Unfortunately, these qualifiers will not be able to attend the State Send-Off, however, we will plan a special recognition for these athletes when they return. Safe travels.
Attention 8th Grade Parents: Today Mrs. Haarberg, HS Counselor, met with all 8th graders and went over courses and course requirements for their upcoming freshmen year. All students have a registration form that they are to bring home and go over with their parents/guardians. Forms must be signed and returned to Mr. Dinslage by Monday, February 20th.

Parents and Students of grades 9-12: Class registration forms are due tomorrow, Wednesday, February 15th. These forms are for class requests for the 23-24 school year. Forms must be signed by a parent. Forms must be turned into the office tomorrow (Wednesday).

Spring Sports Parents Meeting will be held on February 20th @ 7:00 pm in the HS Commons. This is for HS athletes participating in a spring sport and their parents.

Boys Basketball Sub-District C1-11 at Cozad High School. Cozad will play on Tuesday, February 21st at 5:30 pm against Chase County.

Parents & Students: Calendar change--there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, February 27th, to accommodate the SWC speech at Cozad. Teachers will have an in-service day. Please note that the last day of school for students will now be Thursday, May 18th.

Senior Night this evening for our Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, and Dance Team. The senior members of these teams will be recognized this evening, Friday, February 10th, at the last home basketball games. Ms. Widick's class, along with the rest of 3rd grade have transformed in Vikings for this reading unit! These Vikings have build longships to guide them on the journey ahead!




District Wrestling starts today! Good luck to the Haymaker wrestlers and coaches as they travel to Grand Island Northwest for the District Class B District 3 meet. Today's wrestling begins at 3:30. Tomorrow, February 11th, wrestling begins at 10:00 am. Awards will take place at the conclusion of the tournament. Schools in our district include: Adams Central, Aurora, Chadron, Cozad, Hastings, Norris, Northwest, Plattsmouth, Schuyler, Wahoo, and York.

We are excited to communicate that construction will begin at the high school campus this coming Monday, February 13th. Construction will begin on the west side of the high school. The west parking lot and entrance doors will be closed effective February 13th. Beginning Monday, all visitors to the HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING must park and enter through the EAST entrance doors only. We are working to identify designated visitor parking on the east side of the high school. The Middle School west side entrance will remain open. If you have any questions, please contact the high school. Thank you for your flexibility as we begin construction.
