Cozad High School will host this evening's (Tuesday 2/28/23) C1-6 Boys District Final game between #6 Sidney Red Raiders and #11 Aurora Huskies. The game will be held in the Cozad High School Gym starting at 6:00 pm. The game will be streamed with our Hudle Focus camera and can be watched on our Haymaker Media YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@haymakermedia5488/streams

Cozad Elementary & CEEC Parents and Students: Reminder this week is Dr. Seuss Week (February 27th - March 3rd). Our PreK and Elementary students will celebrate the week with dress up days. Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 28th, is "The Cat in the Hat" day---wear stripes and/or your favorite hat!

Please join us in welcoming Mr. Seth Vlasak to our teaching staff. Mr. Vlasak will be joining the HS staff as the new Business/Information Technology teacher for the upcoming school year. Mr. Vlasak is a Wilber-Clatonia native and is completing his student teaching at Kearney High School. We are excited for him to join our Haymaker team!
We are excited to welcome Mrs. Abbie Neujahr to the CCS team! Abbie brings outstanding experience and knowledge to our elementary team. We look forward to utilizing her expertise to continue educating our students! Abbie will join the Kindergarten team at Cozad Elementary for the 2023-2024 school year.
Welcome back Mrs. Schultz! Mrs. Schultz previously taught at CMS and is rejoining our team as the new High School Language Arts teacher. We know the knowledge and experience she will bring to our Language Arts department. Once a Haymaker, always a Haymaker!
We are excited to share that Miss Samantha Crick will be joining our teaching staff for the 2023-24 school year. Most of you will recognize Sammy as she is a 2017 Cozad High School graduate and has been working as a para-educator and coach the past few years. Sammy will be returning in the 2023-24 school year in a new position as our Middle School Business teacher! We are so proud of her and happy she choose to continue her teaching career at Cozad Middle School!

Cozad Elementary Parents: The Kids Heart Challenge has officially kicked off. Each student should have received a packet and be coming home with information regarding our Kids Heart Challenge. Last year, we raised a School Record $8,900. This year, we aim even bigger with the school-wide goal of $9,500. Ask your kiddo what other fun incentives there are to raise money. Reminder, the Kids Heart Challenge fundraiser will end March 10th!
We are excited to welcome Mrs. Trysta Asche to our Haymaker family! Mrs. Asche is a Cozad native and is excited for her and her family to move back. Mrs. Asche will be teaching Middle School English and her husband Joshua will be teaching HS Math. We look forward to you and your family being part of our Cozad Community School family and community member!

Congratulations to the Cozad Haymaker Boys Basketball team on their 56 to 45 win over Chase County! The Haymakers will advanced to Game 3 of the C1-11 Sub-district tournament and play Holdrege tomorrow (2/23/23) at 6:00 pm in the Barn. Shout out to these Cozad businesses for offering to again pay the admission for the first 200 Cozad students' (K-12th grade).
