We are excited to welcome Mrs. Tylyn Henry as a new Kindergarten teacher at Cozad! A Cozad resident, Mrs. Henry currently teaches 4th grade at Elwood Public School and is eager to bring her passion for early learning to our little Haymakers.

Miss Linn shared, “I’m excited to share my passion and love for dance with these students and soon-to-be new dance team. I look forward to building technique and advancing the skill levels of these dancers. I can’t wait to showcase our strengths along with new skills to the community while showing support and school spirit to all Haymaker fans!”

CHS Junior Abby Negley showcased her research at the Western Regional Science Fair at Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte on Wednesday, March 12th. Her project, "The Effect Veterinary Exams Have on Animal Behavioral Stress," examined whether at-home vet exams cause less stress than those conducted in a clinic. She measured stress levels through glucose and blood cortisone levels.
Abby’s project earned 3rd place, receiving a $55 monetary donation from the VFW, and she qualified to present at the Nebraska State Science Fair at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in April. Congratulations, Abby! #HaymakerWay
