Yesterday, our CHS sophomore class embarked on an exciting journey visiting both Central Community College and Hastings College! At CCC, students explored various trades and two-year career paths, gaining valuable insights into future opportunities. Next stop: Hastings College, where they delved into the diverse range of programs offered. Huge thanks to our counseling department for organizing this enriching trip, made possible through the College Access Grant through EducationQuest.

The McCook Varsity Boys' Golf Invite that was scheduled for Tuesday, April 16th, has been moved to Wednesday, April 17th at 9:30 am due to the forecast for Tuesday.

Good Luck to our CHS SkillsUSA members that are competing at State Skills starting today. More than 1,600 students from across the state will converge in Grand Island at the Heartland Events Center and Fonner Park to compete in the 2024 SkillsUSA Nebraska Championships. Students compete in over 100 career and technical competitions including architecture & construction, arts, audio/video technology, business management & administration, education, health science, public safety, hospitality & tourism, leadership, manufacturing, science, technology, engineering & math, information technology, transportation and more!
