The Cozad HS Track & Field Invitational is tomorrow, Tuesday, April 30th, with events begin at 3:00. We'll be hosting teams from Broken Bow, Gothenburg, Kearney Catholic, Minden, Ogallala, and Sidney. Hope you can come cheer on our Haymaker track athletes!

Join us at the Robert Henri Museum on Thursday, May 2nd, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm for a showcase of our talented students' artwork. Everyone is welcome! If your child has artwork in the show, they should have received a letter.

Update on SWC Track & Field at Minden tomorrow-Saturday, April 27th: Please note the schedule below, as the running events have been moved up to 12:00 pm (1/2 hour earlier than previously scheduled). The running events for this meet will be a "Finals Only" schedule (no prelims). Field events will run as normal.

The JV golf meet scheduled today for Overton has been rescheduled to Friday, May 3rd at 9:00 am

Boys golf at Broken Bow today has been postponed. They will make an attempt to find a new date.

🎓 Today was a special day at Cozad Elementary as our senior class donned their caps and gowns for the annual "senior walk" through the halls of the elementary and early education center. It was a heartwarming sight to see our younger students cheering them on, inspired by the journey that lies ahead. Congratulations to the Class of 2024 as they prepare to embark on the next chapter of their lives!

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Tim Negley will be joining the Cozad Elementary staff for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. With 15 years of experience as the 7-12 Agricultural Teacher in Gothenburg, Mr. Negley brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. He is enthusiastic about the opportunity to transition to teaching 5th grade and is committed to fostering a lifelong love of learning in his students. We look forward to welcoming Mr. Negley to our school community and are excited about the contributions he will make to our students' educational journey.


Miss Sydney Reichert will bring her passion for physical education to Cozad Elementary. Graduating from Concordia University - Nebraska this spring, Sydney will join the Cozad Haymakers as the elementary PE teacher in the upcoming school year. We would like to welcome Sydney and look forward to her joining our Haymaker Family!
