The Young Americans Workshop is returning to Cozad October 14, 15, 16, 2018. Registration is currently open to grades 3rd-12th throughout the surrounding area. Participants are divided and learn within three different age groups. This high-energy comprehensive performance workshop covers everything from vocal techniques, dance, and comedy improvisation, to stage movement, sound, lighting, and more. Learning a show in 3 days helps students learn to work together, to respect each other’s strengths, and to discover their own potential. This show is jam-packed with choral singing, musical theatre, rock n’ roll, and more! The 45 member cast of YA will teach students the show with a final performance by students and the YA cast on October 16th. Any student can participate regardless of hometown. The registration fee is normally $59 per student. First time participants can participate in the Cozad workshop for only $39 thanks to a grant from the Cozad Area Arts Council, which covers $20 for every first time participant. YA also offers a $10 per student discount for siblings who register at the same time. First time siblings can register for only $29! If multiple siblings are each first time participants, the family will need to register by phone to get discounts for every child. The online form allows only one first timer coupon. The code for the first time discount is FIRSTYA18. To register multiple first time participants, call (951) 493-6753. All other registrations must be done online. Find the registration link, YouTube promo video, and more at the Cozad Choirs Website at: sites.google.com/cozadschools.net/choir/young-americans If you have questions during the registration process, email usa.tours@youngamericans.org.
