
The Mother/Son Dance that was postponed due to weather has been rescheduled for Friday, December 14th.


Congratulations to the CMS 8th grade class for contributing the highest point total for the paper product and toy drive. The totals were: 6th grade: 4,788 points, 7th grade: 1,247 points, and 8th grade: 6,322 points. Classes will follow the the following dismissal schedule on Friday, December 21st:
8th graders--dismissed at 10:00 am (any student wishing to stay and eat lunch may do so)
6th graders--eat lunch at 10:53 and dismissed at 11:30
7th graders--will eat 2nd lunch and then dismissed at 12:00 noon.

Cozad Community Scholastic Association (CCSA) Post Secondary school loan application deadline is December 15, 2018.


The Cozad Wrestling Invite scheduled for tomorrow, December 1st, will be wrestled as scheduled with limited teams. It will be a Varsity only tournament with no Junior Varsity.

Congratulations to CHS Senior Grace Cargill, daughter of Brian and Lana Cargill, who signed today to play softball for Central Community College at Columbus.



Mother Son Holiday Dance--We are watching the weather forecast and a decision will be made by noon on Saturday regarding the SkillsUSA Mother/Son Elementary Dance. The HS Wrestling dual against Mitchell is still being wrestled as scheduled this evening. Action at the Cozad High School gym will begin at 6:30 PM. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Middles School students in Mrs. Corkern's activities class went on the barn quilt tour and stopped at the 50 state exhibit. Julie Geiger from Prairie Point Junction came and visited with the students. (Barn Quilts of Dawson County)


There has been NO official day and time set for the One Act State Sendoff by the Cozad administration. Information will be shared promptly with the public when the date and time are selected.

Cozad Wrestling Club Registration will be held this Thursday, November 29th, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in the Cozad Community Wellness Center Lobby. Wrestlers must be 5 years old--PreK through 8th grade.
