SCHEDULE CHANGE: Due to Easter Break, the McCook JV Track Meet will be on TUESDAY, April 23rd (NOT 24th) starting at 1:00. The school calendar shows the meet being on Monday, but due to Easter break, the meet has been moved back one day. Thank you for your understanding in this manner.
Cozad FCCLA had six competitors qualify for National Competition in Anaheim, California June 30-July 4th! The six qualifiers are from left to right, Haley Hosick in Fashion Design; Natalie Engel, Sydney Lindstedt, & Margaret McGinnis in Chapter in Review - Portfolio Sr; and Alyssa Kolbo & Lynzi Becker in Chapter in Review - Portfolio Jr. These FCCLA members competed in District & State Competition to qualify for Nationals, completing a portfolio and speech to present to the judges. We so proud of all the accomplishments our chapter has made this year and we are ready to begin another successful year for Cozad FCCLA!

Cozad Choirs & Vocalists earned 10 Superior & 7 Excellent ratings. Cozad Bands & Instrumentalists earned 14 Excellent ratings.
Chamber Singers received a Unanimous Superior, including 2 perfect scores! Jadyn Hardee & Carrie Osborn also earned a perfect score for their vocal duet.
Congrats to the Cozad Quiz Bowl Team and their 3rd place finish at the SWC Championships!!!
Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the Cozad Community Schools Board of Education, District 11 of Dawson County, Nebraska will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at the office of the superintendent of schools, 1910 Meridian Avenue, Cozad, Nebraska, which meeting will be open to the public. An agenda for such meeting kept continually current is available for public inspection at the superintendent of school’s office.
Cozad Community Schools will have a 2 hour late start on Friday April 12. There will be no buses running tomorrow.
