Congratulations to Cozad Middle School 6th Grader Rugor Aden on qualifying for the National Geographic State Geography Bee in Omaha on March 27th!! Rugor had to take a 70 question online test in 60 minutes or less in order to qualify!! Congrats Rugor!!

Congratulations to our February Elementary Cozad Kids Caught With Character. This month students were nominated and chosen for integrity!

Cozad Elementary and CEEC will celebrate "Read Across America" and Dr. Seuss's birthday next week (March 2-6) with special dress up days during the week.

Cozad FFA students are celebrating National FFA Week this week. We are very proud of our CHS and CMS FFA members! We are excited to see this organization grow and become a strong chapter in the State. Happy FFA Week to sponsor Ms. McKenzie Crowe and all the members!
There will be an organizational meeting this Friday (February 28) right after school in the weight room. Anyone that will be in grades 9-12 next year that is going out for football needs to attend. Thank you.

Attention Parents on Bus Routes: There will be NO after school RURAL bus routes today, Tuesday, Febr. 25th. We will run only in-town routes due to the road conditions.
With the 10:00 am late start today (Tuesday, February 25th), busses will still run routes but with delayed schedule.
Cozad Community Schools will have a 10:00 start today Tuesday February 25th.

Law Enforcement and Educators joined together today at Cozad High School for a very informative presentation by Phil Charmers. Phil is a true crime writer, UT law enforcement trainer, youth culture specialist, and a television personality. Attendees were from various law enforcement agencies across the area and even out of state. Educators attending were from Cozad and surrounding areas.
Thank you Cozad Police Department for this learning opportunity and bringing law enforcement and educators together to make our schools and communities a safer place. Also a big thank you to the Opaa! staff for morning coffee and snacks and Cozad Elks and Officers for serving our law enforcement personnel and educators.

Today is a 2:00 dismissal for all students. There is no school for students Thursday or Friday, February 20 and 21.
Don't miss the Elementary Scholastic Book Fair this week, February 17th - 20th, in the elementary library. Hours are 7:30 - 4:30 Monday - Wednesday and until 6:00 pm on Thursday.

Coach Davis will be having a meeting on Monday, February 24th, at 7:00 pm in the HS Commons for all High School boys interested in going out for golf this spring. This meeting is for the athlete and parent.
