Elementary Open House tonight, August 19th. Kindergarten (only) 4:00 to 5:00 and Grades 1-5 will be 5:00 to 6:00 pm. Our teachers are excited to meet you!
High School Freshmen and New Student Orientation tonight, Monday, August 19th at 6:00 pm in the HS Auditorium. Students attending can then pick up their chromebooks after the orientation.
MS and HS Devices. This year our students in grades 6-12 will be issued a chromebook. Middle School students will get their devices the first day of school. High School Sophomores-Seniors can pick their chromebook up Monday or Tuesday from 9-12. Freshmen and NEW students can pick up their devices after the orientation Monday. Any student in grades 6-12 that would like to take their device home, will need to pay the $12.00 take-home fee and sign the Take Home Agreement. All paperwork and fees for chromebooks will be due NO LATER than Friday, August 30th. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Wolfe at patty.wolfe@cozadschools.net
CHS Seniors, Juniors & Sophomores: If you would like to pick up your chromebook before the first day of school, you can pick them up on Monday or Tuesday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Mrs. Wolfe and/or Mrs. Irish will be in the tech room behind the office (use the hallway by Mr. Vincent's room). FRESHMEN and NEW students, you can pick your chromebook up after the Orientation on Monday, August 19th. (those students that do not pick it up early, you will get your chromebook on the first day of school).
Due to the wet field conditions, the Softball Gatorade Scrimmage scheduled today (August 16th) has been postponed to Tuesday, August 20th, 5:00 pm at Bellamy Field. #cozadMakers

Haymaker football apparel is available for order until Monday. Digital copy is on our website and app (Go to "Documents > Schools > High School > 2019-2020"). Hard copies can also be found in the HS office. Orders must be turned in to the HS office by Monday at 4 PM. Checks payable to Cozad Community Schools.
CEEC Staff is anxiously awaiting our new students to visit us this evening! CEEC Open House this evening from 5 to 6.
The Middle School will have an Orientation for 6th graders and new students this evening, Thursday, August 15th at 6:00 pm. These students can pick up their schedules at this time also.
Pre-School Open House at CEEC this evening, Thursday, August 15th, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. Students and Parents are invited to come meet your teacher and our staff. Students are encouraged to bring their supplies so they won't have to do that on the first day. Can't wait to meet you!
Cozad Schools will be welcoming a new staff member this fall. We are excited for Jasper Anne to join our schools and work with our students. Parents, if you do NOT want your child to interact with our Therapy Dog, please complete the REFUSAL form on our website. Jasper will be working with Mrs. Tasia Aden throughout the school year. 2018-2019 CHS Yearbooks are in! Last year seniors (Class of 2019) can pick them up in the HS office from Roxanne. This year's sophomores, juniors, and seniors can pick them up in Ms. Sansone's room. #cozadMakers

Middle School Schedules will be available starting Wednesday, August 14th at 1:00.Students may pick them up in the MS office. 6th Grade students can pick up their schedules at the 6th Grade and New Student Orientation, on Thursday, August 15th at 6:00 pm
2019-2020 School calendars were mailed today to families with children in Cozad Schools. Calendars were also delivered to the banks for our community members and patrons.
Parents: The Community Football Club will have Flag and Tackle Football this Fall for grades 3rd & 4th (Flag Football) and Grades 5th & 6th (Tackle Football). Registration Forms can be found on our website and app under "Documents > Schools > elementary > 2019-2020". Registration is Monday August 19th. Please see the forms for additional information. This program is sponsored by the Community Football Club.

CHS Students: The PowerSchool portal for HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY has been open so you can review your schedule. Please review your schedule. If you have any questions or need to make schedule changes, please see Mrs. Smith, new CHS Guidance Counselor, in the High School counseling office. She will be available this week from 8 to 4. Use the east student parking lot doors to enter the high school.
