CHS Freshmen & New Student Orientation this evening, Monday, August 17th, 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Freshmen students will be able to pick up their chromebooks this evening during this time. New students will get their chromebooks the first day of classes.

Youth Football Registration sponsored by the Community Football Club will be held on Thursday, August 20th, at the Cozad Wellness Center from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Registration information can be found on the registration forms. Grades 3 & 4 are flag football and grades 5 & 6 are tackle football. The community organization will also try to have wrestling singlet check at the same time as the youth football registration. Singlet check in would be for grades Pre-K - 8.

New teachers at the High School include Kristen Wilkins (Math), Emmily Reppert (Special Education), Jessica De La Torre (Family Consumer Science), Jose Monrroy (Counselor), and Jordan Haarberg (Counselor and Alternative Ed). The Middle School new teachers include Nick Broz (PE), David Evertson (Science), and student teacher, Dillon Higgins. Dillon will be student teaching under Mrs. Alisa Favinger in Math. CEEC welcomes Karsyn Bell (Special Education).

CHS Juniors & Sophomores: Chromebook pickup on Thursday (August 13th). Juniors 9:00 to 11:00 am and Sophomores 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Pick up your device at the Tech Room "window" in the hallway by Mr. Vincent's room.

Reminder that the youth football camp tshirts have arrived. They can be picked up in the HS weight room today from 1-3:30 today. Coach Cargill will be there.

CHS Seniors: If you would like to pick up your chromebook today, Wednesday, August 12th, you can come to the HS Tech Window (by Mr. Vincent's room) any time from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. If you are unable to come today, you can come Friday morning from 9:00 to 11:00. NEW students to CHS, your chromebooks will be available when classes start.

There will be no intersquad scrimmage this Saturday for the Haymaker football team. No scrimmage and no football activities Saturday.

CHS Students (and 2020 Graduates): The High School yearbooks for the 2019-2020 school year are in and ready for pick up. Graduated seniors can pick theirs up in the HS office and returning students can pick them up from Mrs. Sansone next week when school starts.

CHS Students: We have scheduled times for High School students to pick up their chromebook, charger, and forms. We would appreciate students picking them up at these scheduled times before school starts so your device can be charged and ready to go the first day of classes. NEW students will get their device the first week of school.


There will be a free kicking clinic for Haymaker football players grades 6-12 on Thursday August 13th from 9 AM-11 AM. The clinic will be on the practice fields north of the school. Mr. Josh Cherry, former K-State kicker, will be the clinic instructor. Bring cleats, shorts, tshirt. If interested email Coach Cargill at brian.cargill@cozadschools.net

If you are a Free and Reduced family and want to have your students information shared with other programs, you MUST complete the Sharing Information with Other Programs form. This form was included in the lunch information packets that were mailed out to families. Information will ONLY be shared with the programs you check. If you have any questions on your students' lunch status or need another form, please contact Brenna at 308-784-2745.
