Wednesday, September 20th, is a 2:00 dismissal for all Cozad students PreK-12th grade.

📕⽴📕 AUTHOR VISIT at Cozad Elementary on Friday 📕⽴📕
In celebration of Dot Day, Cozad Elementary Grades K-2 students and staff were given presentations by Author Bruce Arant which included "Story Sequencing" for 2nd Graders (Students exercised their creativity in creating new paths to an existing story, by imagining their own versions of First, Next, Then, Last), and Kindergartners and 1st Graders partook in a "Storyboarding Workshop" in which students had a hands-on experience at demonstrating their thought process through visual story telling.

To wrap up our CKLA nursery rhymes unit in Kindergarten, Cozad Elementary Schools held its first ever Nursery Rhyme Olympics! All activities are based on a nursery rhyme that we learned. The events were:
-Little Miss Muffet's spider crawl
-Hickory Dickory Dock clock walk
-Jack and Jill water relay
-Humpty Dumpty, and a Little Bo Peep sheep find
