Parents: On Monday, April 8th, there will be a partial solar eclipse in the afternoon. Weather and conditions permitting, students at Cozad Community Schools will have the opportunity to observe this event outside. Due to the potential hazard of staring at the sun, students who wish to participate will be REQUIRED to wear protective eye wear that will be provided by the school. In order for your child to participate, this form needs to be completed by a parent and returned to the office by 8:10 a.m. on April 8th! Forms are also available to students in their school office. This summer's Youth Football Camp will be on Tuesday, June 4th through Thursday, June 6th from 10:30-12:00 on the practice field. This camp is for Grades 3rd through 8th (Fall of 2024 grade). A soon-to-be graduate of UNK, she's currently gaining valuable experience through student teaching at Gibbon Public Schools. Shelby Dietz, soon to be Worrell, currently residing in Cozad, brings excitement as we look forward to reducing her commute! Transitioning from teaching 4th grade in North Platte, she'll now be instructing 5th graders at Cozad Elementary School. CHS - ACT UPDATE: The 11th Grade NSCAS ACT Exam that was scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed to Wednesday of this week. Students will test in the same locations as communicated previously. ALL CHS 11th graders are expected to bring their Chromebooks and chargers to school tomorrow.
