Parents & Students:
The school district has worked hard to ensure that students have access to technology that supports the acquisition of academic standards during this time of school closure. Please remember this is a tool to access school resources and not a toy. Students are responsible for the appropriate care and use of district property. Students will be held accountable for damaging or destroying all district property (includes power cords, screens and the device itself).
Parents, please remind your children not to eat, drink, or play around their school device. We have seen many spills and breaks this week. A reminder that students/parents can be held accountable for negligent damage. We appreciate your help. Thank you!
Thank you to our Food Service Staff and Director! They are serving almost 500 meals a day!

Notice: Based on the recommendations of Two Rivers Public Health Department, the playgrounds at all Cozad Community Schools are now closed. We will be closing the playgrounds to practice social distancing and slow the spread of COVID-19.
Message from the Summer Youth Baseball/Softball Board: It is with a heavy heart that the Cozad Little League Board has made the decision to cancel the 2020 Summer Baseball/Softball program. The school’s announcement today that the school facility and all activities would now be cancelled until May 31, prompted our decision that in the best interest of our youth and community we must cancel the ball season.
Those of you that wrote checks to the Cozad Little League, those checks will now be shredded. Those of you that paid in cash, we will be mailing refund checks to you in the very near future.
Please take care and be safe. We look forward to working with everyone in the 2021 season. God Bless.
Congratulations to the 2020-2021 CHS Cheerleaders!

Message from Cozad Community Schools Superintendent Ron Wymore: This is to let you know that the school buildings will be closed until at least May 31st. This is a part of a new Directed Health Measure issued by Governor Ricketts. Graduation is postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date in accordance with regulations from the Two Rivers Health. NSAA has cancelled all activity practices and competitions including district and state competitions for the remainder of the school year.
Cozad Community Schools will continue with our on-line education for all students until the end of the school year. Your child needs to make sure to do the on-line activities and assignments for the rest of the year. Not doing the assignments could jeopardize their credits for the second semester classes.
Stay healthy and practice social distancing.
Parents: We will be adding Weekend meals to the Grab and Go meal service. We will send 3 meals home with students on Friday so that they have food over the weekend. The district and OPAA! are trying to ensure the students of Cozad have nutritious meals.
Unfortuantely, we are no longer able to do the Snack each day. NDE is reconsidering if we can serve it during the shutdown.
We will be having Chicken and Waffles today and Chicken Patty with Mashed Potatoes tomorrow. We are trying to continue to serve food that our students love while they are away from school.
Parents and Students may look up the menus at cozadschools.nutrislice.com. They may also download the Nutrislice Ap for their cell phone. Reminder, these meals are FREE for ALL children ages 1-18 and we have 6 pickup locations.
