The National Honor Society is working hard to further meet the needs of students at Cozad High School by putting together personal care grab bags. If you are interested in helping NHS meet these needs, they are in need of the following items in travel sizes:

- men's shaving cream
- men's deodorant
- body wash
- spray deodorant

The format of the Haymaker Wrestling Invite scheduled for this weekend will be different than in the' past. The tournament will be a dual tournament held on Friday, December 4th, and Saturday, December 5th. Wrestling begins at 2:00 pm Friday and 9:30 am Saturday. Cozad will ONLY be wrestling on Saturday. Due to health guidelines, there will be spectator restrictions. Cozad participating wrestlers are limited to ONLY household members and visiting wrestlers are limited to 2 household members. All mats will be live-streamed both days. We will provide the link on our website and social media.
HS Basketball Parents: The times for the Chase County basketball games tomorrow, Thursday, December 3rd, are as follows: JV Girls & Boys at 5:00 pm CST, Girls' Varsity 6:30 CST, and Boys' Varsity 8:00 pm CST. Please NOTE that this is different than the printed school calendar. Attendance at games are limited to 4 household members per participating player. If we are provided a streaming link, we will post on our website and social media.
Reminder, today, Wednesday, December 2, is a 2:00 dismissal for all Cozad Community School students.
Cozad Early Education Center Open Enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year.
Cozad Middle School students donated 5880 points worth of paper products and laundry detergent to the Food Pantry this year. These donations will help families in need this holiday season. High point winners were: 6th grade Jacob B and Caroline C, 7th grade Montana D and Daygn B, and 8th grade Dakota C and Makenzie M.
Thank you to all the students and parents for your contributions. It is a great day to be a Haymaker!
Just a reminder that there will not be a HS Music Concert tonight. We will be releasing a digital concert toward the end of the semester. This will also be the case for the MS music classes.
Cozad Basketball Fan Gear is now available. Support your Cozad Haymaker Boys' Basketball teams and show your Haymaker Pride! Printable forms can be found on our school website under "documents - schools - High School - 2020-21". Completed orders can be turned in at the High School or Middle School Office or to Coach Broz by Monday, December 7th at 12:30 pm. Shirts are being done locally at Brooks Screen Printing.
Reminder to parents and students: There will be a 2:00 dismissal on both Wednesday and Friday this week (December 2nd and 4th).
Attention Parents and Students: Due to the dual format for the Cozad wrestling tournament on Friday, December 4th, we are going to have an additional early dismissal (2:00) on that Friday. This is in addition to the Wednesday Dec 2nd 2:00 early dismissal.

Huge shout out to Isaiah Walsh and Sheila Land from @ReCircled in Cozad. Today they donated 200 lbs. of clothing to the Cozad Giving Closet. These items are made from textiles that would have otherwise gone to the landfill or have been incinerated. Isaiah Walsh is the VP of Productions at the Cozad ReCircled venue. The Cozad Giving Closet is organized and ran by CHS National Honor Society members. This year Claire Kostrunek and Jacey Smith are in charge of the Giving Closet. The Giving Closet is available to all students at Cozad Schools. Claire and Jacey, with help from CHS students, accepted the donation from @Recircled.
