All passes will be available to purchase starting the week of July 26th, 2021. Activity Fees $35, Family Pass $210, Single Adult Pass $100, Reserved Football seat $20 (this does not include admission). Cozad Community Schools is pleased to announce that Jayce Dueland has been named the new Head Boys Golf Coach at Cozad High School. Coach Dueland replaces Ben Vetrovsky who has stepped down from the position. Coach Dueland was hired in February to be the High School Career & Technical Education teacher and Head Football Coach at Cozad High School.
Coach Dueland was an assistant golf coach for eight years before becoming the Head Boys Golf Coach of the Buffaloes in 2020-2021. While at Elm Creek, he helped coach teams that were conference champions (2019), district champions (2019) and state qualifiers (2016, 2019). In his first year as head coach, the team won the Fort Kearny Conference and finished as the Class D State Runner-Up
(2021).
Cozad Community Schools is pleased to announce that Bryce Bivins has been named the new Girls Golf Coach at Cozad High School. Coach Bivins replaces Kaylei Becker who has stepped down from the position. Prior to coming to Cozad, Coach Bivins was the head boys basketball coach in Haxtun, Colorado for one year. He also competed in golf at the collegiate level for Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado.
Coach Bivins is currently an assistant coach for both the high school boys basketball team and boys golf team at Cozad.

Congratulations to Brittney Aitken & Makaia Baker on their State Track Medals. Brittney Aitken, CHS Senior, was the Class B Runner-Up in both the 100 m and 200 m. Brittney earned the 2nd place medal in the 100 m with a finish time of 12:34 and the 2nd place finish in the 200 m with a time of 25:55. Makaia Baker, CHS Freshman, placed 8th in the 100 m with a time of 12:71. Makaia earned a 4th place finish in the 400 m with a time of 58:41 and set a new school record. She broke a 20 year old record set in 2000 by Jessica German.
Great job to all our state qualifiers and great way to finish the 2021 season!
Cozad Community Schools would like to recognize Mrs. Marcia Fritz who will retire at the end of July. Mrs. Fritz has worked many endless hours making our After School Program a success. She has served as the Cozad AfterZone Director for the past 14 years. Thank you for your service to so many students, parents, families, and our community.
Cozad Community Schools would like to recognize Mr. Bill Beckenhauer and thank him for his dedication and service to our students, staff, and community. Mr. Beckenhauer will retire at the end of this school year after serving in education for the past 40 years. He has served as High School Principal for CHS for the past 14 years. Enjoy your retirement -- it is well deserved!
