Cozad Volleyball Invite--Saturday, September 11th
Cozad Elementary 4th and 5th grade students had a great time learning about agriculture in Nebraska today. Volunteers from the community shared about where we get our food and how technology is used to make farming easier. Ann and Tony Smith hosted the event. Middle School Team pictures will be tomorrow, Friday, September 3rd, at the end of last period. Fall Student athletes (Grades 7th & 8th) need to bring their jerseys to change into. Softball triangular scheduled for this Thursday has been moved to tomorrow, Sept 1. One game only vs Minden at 3:00 pm. Adams Central is not coming.
Reminder to HS and MS Students: Mobile Device Agreement and Responsible Use forms due this Wednesday, September 1st. If you want to take home your chromebook, the $20 take-home (protection) fee must also be paid by Wednesday.
Location & Time Change: Girls' Golf Dual vs. Kearney Catholic will now take place in Kearney tomorrow, August 31st, at Meadowlark Golf Course. Starting time is 1:00 pm. #cozadMakers

Attention Softball 🥎 Parents and Fans: Due to low numbers, there will not be a JV game tonight - Thursday, Aug 26th. The varsity softball game will still be played at 6:30 pm in Gothenburg.

Cozad Middle School’s SMASH (Students Making a Smart Habit) group kicked off the year tonight with a game of kickball. All Middle School students can join SMASH by signing a pledge to be drug, alcohol, and tobacco free. Students can get pledges from Mrs. Teahon or Mrs. Kostrunek. Fun activities are planned every month for students to participate in and all activities are free.
Cozad High School students will have the opportunity for a "Second Chance Breakfast" after the second bell. The bagged breakfast will be served in front of the cafeteria for students to pick up at the bell. This will help those students that have early morning activities and are unavailable for early morning breakfast.
Cozad Softball Alumni Night--tonight at Bellamy Field. Both JV and Varsity will take on Hershey. JV at 5:00 pm and Varsity at 6:30 pm. Good Luck Haymakers!
