Cozad Community Schools is seeking paraprofessionals for the following positions for the 2021-2022 school year:
Special Education Paraprofessionals at the Elementary, Middle School and High School levels.
Early Childhood Education Paraprofessional. Early childhood experience preferred but not required.
Title 1 Reading Paraprofessional.
Secondary English Language Learner Paraprofessional. Responsibilities include working with students who qualify for the English Language Learner program at the High School.
Part-Time AfterZone Paraprofessionals. Positions include working as part of a team doing activities with elementary students, working 12-15 afternoon hours per week.
Full-Time paras require a High School Diploma or GED and must pass a Para Assessment or have the minimum amount of college credit. Paras work closely with the teacher in their assigned classrooms and support them in their duties. Tasks may change dependent on the needs of the students. Ideal candidate is caring, compassionate and dedicated to the students’ success. Full time openings are 9-month, 35 hours per week with benefits that include single health, dental & vision insurance.
