Camryn Yilk Signs to Dance at Concordia University

Cozad High School senior Camryn Yilk has officially signed to join the dance team at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska.

At Concordia, Camryn plans to study elementary education with a specialization in special education. She will also participate in the Church Work Program, which will allow her to earn a Lutheran teaching certificate.

Camryn will spend a week training with the team this summer before beginning classes and dancing for Concordia in August.

Joining Camryn at her signing were Concordia Dance Coach Mandi Maser, her proud parents Jeremy and Elizabeth Yilk, and her brothers Nolan, Kasen, and Jensen. Also there to support Camryn were her high school dance coaches Tara Linn and Kristen Wilkins, dance team members, friends, and many family members.

Camryn shared that she is excited to attend Concordia to further her education. During her visit to campus, she loved the feel of the community and the welcoming atmosphere. She is looking forward to studying education while continuing to do what she loves—dance.
