Mrs. Jordan Haarberg, FFA Advisor

Cozad High School is excited to announce that Mrs. Jordan Haarberg will be taking on the role of FFA Advisor for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year!   Mrs. Haarberg has been an incredible High School Counselor, guiding and supporting our students on their academic journeys. Now, she's bringing her passion for education and commitment to our students to a new role within our FFA program.

With her extensive background in counseling and FFA and a deep-rooted connection to our school, we're confident that Mrs. Haarberg will continue to inspire and empower our students as they embark on their FFA adventures. Her dedication to helping students thrive, coupled with her enthusiasm for agriculture and leadership, makes her the perfect fit for this dual role.

MESSAGE FROM MRS. HAARBERG: I am beyond excited to be the Cozad FFA Advisor for the 2023-2024 school year. The FFA Organization has been a huge part of my life. I was a member of the Imperial FFA Chapter where I competed in many contest and even got 1st place at state with my proficiency in Agricultural Mechanics Design and Fabrication. I have received my State and American Degrees. Some of the most important things FFA has done for me is taught me to build relationships, be a leader, and advocate for agriculture in our world. The last three years I have been honored to serve the Cozad FFA as a volunteer sponsor. It has truly brought joy to my life to be part of this amazing organization again and I love to see what it does for students in our community. Although being an advisor is a huge job, I am confident that with the help of school staff, FFA members, Cozad FFA Alumni and Supporters, and the Cozad Community we will continue to grow and achieve the goals of the Cozad FFA Chapter. I strive to teach the Cozad FFA members the great things the FFA organization can do for them and how they can use what they learn throughout FFA in the future. Although I will not be teaching in the classroom, I will be closely monitoring and planning with the Cozad FFA Officers to make sure we are keeping the Cozad FFA Chapter and it’s members active and learning the importance of leadership skills and advocating for agriculture locally and around our world. I can’t wait to see what Cozad FFA Chapter will accomplish this year! In addition to the new FFA advisor,  Mrs. Katelynn Day is the 2023-2024 Cozad Distance Learning Agriculture Education Teacher.
