Classified Openings:

Cozad Community Schools is seeking applicants for the following positions:

  • Special Education Paraprofessional
  • TLC Paraprofessional

Paras require a High School Diploma or GED and must pass a Para Assessment or have the minimum amount of college credit. You will work closely with the teacher in your assigned classrooms and support them in their duties. Tasks may change depending on the needs of the students. Ideal candidate is caring, compassionate and dedicated to the students’ success.

Openings are 9-month, 35 hour per week positions at the Elementary School.   • Custodian This position is a full time 12 month position working 40-45 hours per week at the Cozad Early Education Center & District Office. Benefits include single health, dental and vision insurance. 
  • Part-Time AfterZone Paraprofessional. This position includes working as part of a team doing activities with elementary students, working 12-15 afternoon hours per week.  
  • Substitute Teachers. Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate required or applicants may apply for a Local Substitute Teaching Certificate through the Nebraska Department of Education. Applicants may qualify for a local substitute permit if they have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours of college coursework.
